General surgery is a surgical specialty that focuses on abdominal contents including esophagus, stomach, small bowel, colon, liver, pancreas, gallbladder and bile ducts, and often the thyroid gland. We also deal with diseases involving the skin, breast, soft tissue, and hernias.
Dr Elgar Rogaly specializes with special interest in breast surgery, thyroid and abdominal wall hernia surgery. He qualified as a surgeon in 1977 and entered private practice in 1982. Dr Rogaly is very aware of new, current trends.
